South East Crypto-Coast Meetup - 17 May 2018 Boxworks Waterford

Curious new comers and Blockchain & Crypto enthusiasts, experts and developers are all very welcome to join us for an inspiring, informative, fun evening at Boxworks co-working space in Waterford for the launch of the South East Crypto-Coast meetup focused on developing a blockchain eco-system in the South East of Ireland.


Crypto-Coast’s mission is to expand and develop the blockchain eco-system already growing in this country through a variety of mediums. Our initial focus is on the creation of a network of co-working spaces for start-ups in this sector and the establishment of academic, social and commercial events and studies exploring all sides of crypto-currency and related topics.


Guest Speakers:

Rob Leslie a qualified electronics engineer and is the founder and CEO of Sedicii and Kyckr. He was part of the original management team in Dell Japan that established and grew the business to almost 300 employees and $300M turnover in 4 years.

Sedicii improves on self-sovereign identity by using a patented zero knowledge proof protocol to help people connect with trusted sources to prove who they are in a fully privacy preserving manner in real-time, every time.

Topic: “Using Tokens To Incentivise Markets”.

Eddie Heffernan is a software developer with over 25 years experience in the industry and has worked in many varied roles throughout his career. He is a committee member of the Blockchain Association of Ireland and is active in the Blockchain community in Ireland.

Topic: Eddie will give an overview on the Blockchain Association of Ireland and how they are supporting thriving communities across Ireland.
