Tech Thursday Kilkenny will host this special event - Leveraging Limerick's Success 8th November

Limerick is one of the biggest Irish success stories of the recovery, from an economic renaissance to social and physical regeneration. With an investment of over €1 billion in enterprise and investment infrastructure as part of their "Limerick 2030 Vision", so far over 12,000 jobs have been created there since 2013.

Their future-focused framework facilitates domestic and foreign direct investment making it an attractive place to both work and live. Limerick has the highest disposable income per person in Ireland outside of Dublin and was recently listed as one of the top 10 European cities to invest in by Site Selection. So what can we learn from Limerick and how can this be applied to Kilkenny? Join us for insights and lively discussion as we explore the learnings Kilkenny can leverage from Limerick’s leadership.

Host: John Cleere (Red Lemonade and TechThursday Kilkenny) with
Frank Crowley (Economist and lecturing at CUBS, University College Cork)
Catríona Cahill (Economist at Limerick Chamber of Commerce)
